Ask a Question

If the anti-condensation heater worked continuously & over heated the MV circuit breaker cubicle what are the expected effects?

In fact the heat dissipated from anti-condensation heaters is relatively small if compared to the heat dissipated by the power circuit components while the cubicle is energized and thus this option when stated by switchboard manufacturer does not impact the overall "temperature rise" of the cubicle.
This heating is useful to keep the cable connection area warm to free-up the condensation even when the cubicle power circuit is switched off.
