The difference between the manual operation and automatic operation for NSX range

In automatic operating mode, only electrical commands are executed. When the switch is in the "auto" position, the ON/OFF (I/O) buttons and the charging
lever on the mechanism are locked.

In manual operating mode, all electrical commands are disabled. When the switch is in the "manual" position, the ON/OFF (I/O) buttons may be used.

The difference between the manual operation and automatic operation is explained in detail in the attached extract from the Compact NSX User manual. The operation of the circuit breaker with a motor is composed of 3 stages; ON, OFF and RESET.
Depending on the wiring, one of three reset modes can be achieved, as illustrated in the attached extract (refer to Extract - Compact NSX - User Manual.pdf).
