Schneider Electric was the first company in the world to receive certification for the IEC 61000-4-30 Class A power quality standard by Power Standards Lab for our high-end power and energy meters.
This is not just a European standard - it's the leading PQ Measurement standard in the world and as more organizations and energy providers adopt the 4-30 class A standards, the PowerLogic ION8800 and the PowerLogic ION7650 meters, as well as ION Enterprise 5.6 reports, will now have a competitive advantage over noncompliant products.

PQ data collected by these meters is reliable, repeatable and comparable to results gained from any Class A compliant device, regardless of manufacturer or environmental conditions. This also increases the validity and value of any further analysis performed with the data.

Class A measurements should be required wherever precise measurements are necessary: for contractual applications, for verifying compliance with standards, and for resolving disputes.
