Ask a Question

Tesys T date and time setting shows incorrect value automatically after 2 to 3 days of setting. Please suggest a solution?

Tesys T is very sensitive to the control supply loss and hold the last value of date and time settings if the power supply is off for more than 20-30 minutes. When the power supply resumes the time start counting and it may show error value, if the power supply was off for long duration.

So, if it is required for the Tesys T to transmit the correct time and date, the supply for the Tesys T should be given permanently from UPS.

Further the date and time information is stored on the registers from 655-658 in the attached format(General Date Format Tesys T.pdf). You can write the registers 655 to 658 through Modbus messaging to update the date and time through PLC.
